The MMG Family contains one of each cut and is designed for around four people. The MMG Friends doubles every cut and is built for eight to ten people — perfect for a larger gathering, a barbecue or a special occasion that deserves something serious at its centre. Both versions deliver exactly the same quality and the same standard. The size changes. The craft doesn't.

Both versions of the Matteo Mixed Grill include a curated selection of dry-aged beef, free-range pork and Halal grass-fed lamb cuts. The MMG Family includes: Dry Aged Rib Eye Steaks, Dry Aged Sirloin Steaks, Fillet Steak, Lamb Chops, Lamb Cutlets, Pork Chops, Pork Fillet, Pork Loin Steaks and Minced Beef. The MMG Friends doubles every item in the box.

The beef cuts in the Matteo Mixed Grill are dry-aged in-house in our own ageing room. The pork and lamb cuts are not dry-aged — they are sourced fresh from free-range, rare breed British farms and butchered in-house by Matteo and his team. Every cut, regardless of type, is prepared to the same standard and cut to order the morning it ships.

It means every cut in your MMG box is portioned by Matteo or one of his team the morning your order ships — not the day before, not last week. The moment a knife goes through meat, it begins to deteriorate. By cutting to order we ensure every piece in your box arrives at its absolute peak, with maximum moisture and flavour intact.

Every MMG box is packed in premium cold-chain packaging designed to keep all cuts at the correct temperature throughout transit. We use insulated boxes with gel ice packs that maintain the cold for the duration of delivery. Your order is cut, packed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed before 12pm ship the same day. Orders placed after 12pm ship the following morning.

If you plan to cook within two days, store everything in the coldest part of your fridge in the original packaging. For longer storage, freeze the cuts immediately on arrival — our packaging is freezer-safe. When defrosting, always do so slowly in the fridge overnight rather than at room temperature. Remove all cuts from the fridge 30–60 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature.

Absolutely — the Matteo Mixed Grill is designed with the barbecue in mind. All cuts in the box work beautifully over direct or indirect heat. For the beef steaks, aim for medium-rare at 52–54°C internal temperature. For the pork and lamb, cook to 68–70°C and 63–65°C respectively. Rest everything for at least half the time it cooked before serving.
